Know Your Origin
My last university brief was based on corporate responsiblity, it was quite open in that I could choose any company or organisation to front in the campaign. I chose to focus mine on Adidas and how they now operate more ethically when buying materials to produce their goods which are made out of leather. You see in 2009 Greenpeace published a report naming Adidas as just one of the large companies buying materials from unethical sources. Deforestation was the main problem and if companies were to keep working with the companies helping cause deforestation than the enviroment would massively suffer.
It was my mission to raise awareness for both what Adidas were doing as a corporation to help fight againt deforestation and also raise awareness for the issue itself. I did this through a series of media including posters, a viral ad and the use of online social networking websites.
My chosen theme for the campaign was about knowing where the products you buy originate from, and being aware of what you're wearing. the campaigns strapline was "Know Your Origin".
